The name and structure of the new university of applied sciences will be decided during 2015. Mamk is the most successful university of applied sciences in Finland, and it has been granted 18 awards of achievement by the Ministry of Education and Culture. According to a comparison by Talouselämä magazine, Mamk is the best university of applied sciences in Finland. According to the comparison, Mamk has Finland's best student satisfaction, studies roll well and diploma targets are met as agreed, among other things.
